The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows
is a web series that defines newly invented words for strangely powerful emotions. Ambedo is one of them. The meaning of 'Ambedo' is, a kind of melancholic trance in which you become completely absorbed in vivid sensory details—raindrops skittering down a window, tall trees leaning in the wind, clouds of cream swirling in your coffee—which leads to a dawning awareness of the haunting fragility of life.

From the name of the photography publication, to the binding and how the photographs were sequenced, it serves as a reminder for everyone to slow down in life to notice how everything exists in its own way, how everything has a purpose, and how we should all take the time to take a look at the little things, the bigger picture.

The A4 publication can be viewed in an A3 format as well. Viewing the publication in an A4 format would encourage viewers to look closely at the details of the photograph. The publication is bound with an elastic band, which can be taken out for viewers to take a look at the entire photograph in an A3 format that shows the bigger picture.
